Idaho Panhandle Practical Shooting Club, Inc.

Presents The

Eddy Brown Metal Memorial Match

EBMMM

July 21, 2012  The 12th annual EBMMM in Smelterville Idaho at the Shoshone County Public Shooting Range.

We will not be a sanctioned Steel Challenge event this year, nor have a prize table, but will run all 7 stages of the EBMMM at a reduced rate of $25. Bring your own food and water.  There may also be concessions sold as a fundraiser for the range.

We will have trophies for 1-2-3 in each division. We also want you to RSVP and send to Match Director, Rick Schoonmaker the attached form on or before July 15th so we may have a good headcount. We are trying not to get match day sign ups. Shooting a second gun will cost another $20 and require a second entry form.

I am asking everyone who gets this to email me if you are planning to come. If you are coming from out of town and spending a night, you can find rooms in Kellogg as the range is just 5 minutes away. This is a short list of hotels.  The internet has a better list with the toll free numbers.  Unfortunately, there is no camping allowed on the range.  There are however, several nice campgrounds in the area.

The Super 8:   601 Bunker Ave Kellogg, ID 1-800-785-5443

The Silver Valley Inn:   611 Bunker Ave., Kellogg ID 1-208-783-1234

The Alpine Village Resort:   308 Ohio Ave., Kellogg ID  1-208-783-2757

Directions to the range:

Exit 48 on I-90.  Turn south until the road T’s. Turn east (left). Drive about a ½ mile turn south (right) and drive up the canyon 2 miles to the range.

Rick Schoonmaker, Pres., IPPSC

Mike Margeson, VP. IPPSC
Wayne Schoonmaker, Sec/Treas. IPPSC

The 2011 Eddy Brown Memorial Metal Match was held at the Smelterville Range, under the auspices of the Spokane Practical Pistol League.  At present, the plan is to offer the EBMMM at the Smeltervill range in 2012, under the auspices of the newly formed club Idaho Panhandle Practical Shooters Club (IPPSC).

EBMMM update.  There will be concessions at the range like last year. All monies go directly to the range.  Also, perhaps more important, the range will allow for camping.  If you're coming from out of town and want to camp, please contact Rick before the match at <threegun35@yahoo.com>.
