SPPL ANNUAL MEETING SATURDAY OCTOBER 16
Mark your calendars now for our annual SPPL meeting. This will be from
noon to 2PM at Conley's Restaurant on 12618 E. Sprague. (next door to the
White Elephant) We need to re-elect officers, decide on becoming a 501(c)3
non profiit corporation, and make plans for next years matches.

WINTER SHOOTING
We have been in contact with Ed Santos, owner of Center Target Sports
Indoor Shooting range in Post Falls. He will have his new range opening in
November and SPPL gets to use this facility to host our SPPL club matches
the SECOND SATURDAY of each month. We now will have year round shooting!

Ed has requested that we have some of our shooters demonstating IPSC
type of shooting at his grand opening. As soon as I get a firm date on the
grand opening I will be looking for volunteers to shoot a stage or two for
practice and to show our sport to his new customers.

$2,000 CONTAINER DONATION
At the September Match, SPPL lifetime club member, Jim Youngman donated $2,000 towards SPPL getting the 40 foot container to store all of our props and
steel in at Fernan. We will still have alot of work in leveling a spot, putting drainage gravel down, acquiring cement blocks, and help moving the container next to the natural terrain bay. We will also need help moving all our 'stuff" in the old trailers and off the road into this new storage container after putting it in place.

This container will help alleviate the theft and damage problems that we
have occured over the years and give both Fernan and us the much needed
room we need as both groups have grown alot over the past 5 years.

Please CONTACT ME if you can help us in any of these areas needed to
move the container in its place. Be sure to thank Jim for his
generosity, this is a huge boost to our clubs goals. BTW, this is NOT a
tax deductible donation.

OCTOBER SPPL MATCH
Our last outdoor match is Saturday Ocober 30 and is scheduled to be a
concealed carry match. (since it will be cold) If the weather is bad we
will turn this into a steel match but we will have the October match. As
always volunteers for set up are required so start planning for or last
outdoor match of the year.
