JANUARY MATCH REPORT
15 shooters (2 new ones) braved the snow and we had our first 2005
indoor match at CTS in Post Falls. Results will be on www.sppl.us as
soon as our VP/stats is back from working in Florida. These should be up
next weekend.

The crew at CTS, Robert, Randy, and Jack are very helpful and courteous so
be sure to thank them as they prepare the range before we shoot as well as
keep it heated and well ventalated.

Owner, Ed Santos, has requested that we change our match times at our
monthly second Saturday IPSC matches. He will have classes running at 9AM
so we need to set up and start one hour sooner. Set up will now be at 7AM
and shooting starts at 8AM. The door closes at 8AM
and if you come in late you cannot shoot the match......get there early! We are also in need of
helpers to design and set up the stages.

January 3rd:

Happy New Year one & all!

2005 promises to be a better year of matches and practice then SPPL has
ever seen.

After saying this, please remember that it also means more work to
spread out and that needs to be done so that people will not get burned
out.

JANUARY 5th
This begins the year with our first official practice at Center Target
Sports this Wednesday night and every following Wednesday night from
7-10PM.

These practice sessions will run a few disciplines the same each week so
you can chart your progress. Towards the end we will set up the next
classifier stage to shoot. This is a perfect time to bring and introduce
new shooters to our game.

Wednesday cost for just CTS members is $5, cost for SPPL & CTS members is $2 for target/prop costs. Cost for non CTS members is regular guest range
fees payable to CTS at $10 with another $2 towards SPPL targets.

JANUARY 8th SPPL MATCH
Saturday is our first match of the New Year, we meet to set up at 8AM and
start shooting at 9AM. These matches will have a USPSA Classifier plus two
other stages. At the end of the match we will rearrange targets for a
rifle side match for fun.

Scores from matches will be up on our website within a day or two, SPPL
match cost is the same as usual, $20 non SPPL and $15 for SPPL members. I
