APRIL
2004 SPPL NEWSLETTER
I
am sure the holiday weekend, honey do list, and 70 degrees with
sunshine kept some of the new shooters away from our Easter weekend Free
Shooters Clinic. However, we did have 17 come and most stayed around to
shoot the bowling pin tables fun shoot.
We
had several new shooters join SPPL and some that also joined FRGC
after the class. A special thanks to Mark Carbon, SPPL Pres and Dave
Hovda for running the class and helping all these shooters get a chance
to
run their first IPSC stage and learn our rules, safe gun handling skills,
and have fun all for FREE.
We
will consider running more New Shooters Clinics as we get people to
step forward and volunteer to help us. This is a great way to introduce
your neighbors, friends, and family in a non-competitive match environment
and help our club grow as well.
BOWLING
PIN FUN SHOOT
I wish to extend Pat Kelley of Moses Lake a hearty "thank you"
